Food Drive

It may not be immediately obvious, but every day some individuals and families in the Highlands find themselves in financial crisis often through no fault of their own. HIGHLAND FOOD BANK provides immediate, short-term, practical help.
Someone’s benefit cheque has been delayed; yet another person has been off ill from work and doesn’t receive sick pay.
HIGHLAND FOOD BANK provides people like these, who literally don’t know where their next meal is coming from, with a three-day supply of nutritionally balanced food. This gives them a breathing-space in which they can work through their problems and find other support if necessary.
You can help by donating non-perishable food items or sign up to have Blythswood Care place a food collection bin at your church or place of business. Find out more here!
Become a Friend of the Festival
As a “Festival Friend,” you have the privilege of coming alongside an individual who responds to the Good News message at the festival.
Festival Friends:
o Connect with a person making a faith response to Jesus Christ or has questions about becoming a Christian.
o Encourage them in their faith commitment and pray with them.
o Collect their information so that a local participating church can follow up with them.
Next Step: Check with your church about training times.
